Could not agree more.  I was just about to do a post about ESPN.com.  There are now three major above-the-fold ad units on most pages of ESPN.com, all for different advertisers.  And another four to six units below the fold.  I’d love to know the effect on CTR and brand recall this has on each advertiser.
